Format Toolbar

The Format Toolbar looks like shown here. The icons of Format Toolbar have meaning discussed below.

Meaning

Duplicates the Format-->Alignment command. When clicked displays the Alignment dialog, which allows you to align an object in the Work Area. For more information refer to the section titled Aligning Objects.

Duplicates the Format-->Group command. Combines several objects into a group, which allows you to use the same actions for the object group at once. For further information see the section titled Grouping and Ungrouping Objects.

Duplicates the Format-->Ungroup command. Splits the selected group into several objects. For further information see the section titled Grouping and Ungrouping Objects.

Duplicates the Format-->Bring to Front command. Allows you to place selected objects on the top of others. For details refer to the section titled Manipulating Object Position.

Duplicates the Format-->Send to Back command. Allows you to place selected objects at the bottom of others. For details refer to the section titled Manipulating Object Position.

Duplicates the Format-->Move Up command. Allows you to place selected objects one level up within the layer relative to other objects. For details refer to the section titled Manipulating Object Position.

Duplicates the Format-->Move Down command. Allows you to place selected objects one level down within the layer relative to other objects. For details refer to the section titled Manipulating Object Position.

When clicked rotates the selected object counter-clockwise 15 degrees around the object center. If you have an object group selected, the system rotates it around the group center.

When clicked rotates the selected object clockwise 15 degrees around the object center. If you have an object group selected, the system rotates it around the group center.

Duplicates the Format-->Object Properties command. Displays the Object Properties dialog, which allows you to view or change properties for objects such as text, rectangle, ellipse, and image. For further information refer to the section titled Managing Object Properties.
